Open Door Clinic

The Open Door Clinic is a free health clinic for uninsured and under-insured adults in Addison County, Vermont.

Our patients are our neighbors, friends, and family, keystone members of our community who work on and support local farms, restaurants, and small businesses. We also serve special populations: Latin American migrant and immigrant workers who face profound language and cultural barriers, and Caribbean seasonal workers at local orchards and other businesses.

  • We see patients by appointment only. To see if you qualify to be seen at the Open Door Clinic, please click here.
  • We determine that you are under-insured when your deductible exceeds 10% of your gross annual income.

Our mission: The Open Door Clinic provides access to free, quality healthcare services to those who are uninsured or underinsured in a compassionate, respectful and culturally sensitive manner until a permanent healthcare provider can be established.

Our weekly clinics are held at 110 Porter Dr., Middlebury, pictured here. Our administrative office, at 100 Porter Dr., Middlebury, is shown on the right (around the corner).
