The Open Door Clinic, like many non-profit organizations, can only serve the community because of its amazing volunteers. There are many fulfilling dimensions of volunteering and each person has their own reason to volunteer.

So many different facets of our community rallied behind us during an unprecedented year of threats to our patient population and to our sources of funding. Your support overwhelmed us and underscored for me how special and lucky we are to be living in this committed and deeply caring community.

Your response and help was gratifying, affirming, and encouraging against the backdrop of chaos, hate speech, intolerance, and polarizing Presidential leadership. Your support overwhelmed us and underscored for me how special and lucky we are to be living in this committed and deeply caring community.
Check out how two personal adventures became fundraisers benefiting the ODC. Larry Jones walked 500 miles on El Camino de Santiago, in Spain, while Chris Kokubo and Nate Shepard drove 30,000 miles from Vermont to São Paulo, Brazil during their epic from home para casa journey.
